Oakland Schools is proud to host Kwame Alexander, a #1 Best Selling Author of Children’s Fiction, as their featured guest for this year’s Read-In. Families, educators, and readers of all ages are invited to Novi Meadows for a virtual evening with Kwame Alexander! Event starts at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm.

Limited number of free books will be available.

The African American Read-In, established by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English, is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature.

This is a partnership between the Novi Public Library, Novi Community School District and Oakland Schools.
