Authors Live Luncheon at Fox Run is back on Tuesday, October 1 at 11:45am. For just $20 per person, enjoy a buffet lunch experience along with an interesting presentation! Our feature speaker is Irene Miller, author of Into No Man’s Land: A Historical Memoir. Her book is the touching story of Irene and her family trying to escape the horrors of Holocaust to end up in a frozen field of the no man's land, in a Siberian labor camp, in an impoverished village in Uzbekistan. It is a story of courage, determination, perseverance and the power of the human spirit. Irene spent 8 years of her life in orphanages, but this did not destroy her dreams and desire to live life a full and rich life.

Miller is a retired healthcare executive, director of mental health, director of a psychiatric division and director of a treatment center for drug-addicted women and their children. She also served in Washington DC on an advisory committee for issues related to drug addiction in women and children. For two years, she was a public-school teacher in Israel.

Copies of her book will be available for purchase (cash or check only). Event will be held at Fox Run Belmont Clubhouse (41200 Fox Run Rd., Novi). Limited to 50 seats.
