Fact Finders Book Club - Grades 1-3 - Nonfiction Books

Calling all curious kids in grades 1–3! Fact Finders Book Club is a monthly nonfiction book club where young readers explore a new real-world topic each month, from dinosaurs and space to animals, inventors, and more.

Participants choose their own nonfiction book that fits the theme. Books can be borrowed from the Novi Public Library, requested from another library, placed on hold and delivered to our library, or purchased independently, whichever option works best for your family.

During each session, kids will share one fun fact they learned from their book, participate in a group discussion, and enjoy a hands-on activity or game tied to the month’s theme. It’s the perfect club for kids who love asking big questions and discovering new things!

This Month's Topic: Michigan

Accessibility Note: This event will take place in the Youth Activity Room, located approximately 190 feet from the front entrance of the library. The nearest restroom is a family restroom located about 20 feet from the room, which may be occupied at times. The nearest alternate restroom is approximately 190 feet away toward the front of the library. Lights will be at full brightness. Participants are welcome to enter and exit the space at any time based on their needs and comfort.
