Program Description

Event Details

Using the block-based platform Scratch, students will bring their own stories to life through custom animations and interactive scenes. They’ll build foundational coding skills while exploring animation techniques, character creation, and storytelling.

Registration required. Participants must bring their own laptop computer and power cable.

Attending With or Without an Adult

Parents, guardians or caregivers of children under the age of seven (7) years must be responsible for maintaining visual contact with and must be in the presence of their child at all times. Parents, guardians or caregivers of children between seven (7) and eleven (11) years old must remain at the Library but not necessarily in visual contact with their child.
