Program Description

Event Details

Buzz on over to the library for a fun maple syrup presentation by Don Snoeyink of Thornapple Woodlands. Don will perform his favorite Native American legend about maple syrup, and teach what sap is, where to find it, and how to turn it into sweet maple syrup.

Don will also explain the progression from the old ways of making maple syrup to our modern processes, and he will teach how to identify a maple tree.

Participants will develop a new appreciation for nature, and get to taste a sample of maple syrup on vanilla ice cream. You don't want to miss this sweet program!
