We are thrilled to have Judy Lewis return to speak at Fox Run for Pride month regarding grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren who may fall under the LGTBQ+ umbrella. Judy is a wonderful storyteller and will provide much on how we approach diversity - with family, friends, and neighbors.
About Judy:
Judy Lewis is the Lead Trainer for MiGen, formerly SAGE Metro Detroit, focused on services and advocacy for LGBTQ+ older adults throughout Michigan. She has spent many years working with caregivers and older adults, providing information and tools for creating a welcoming community for diverse populations. For over 20 years, she has served the non-profit community of Metropolitan Detroit in a variety of roles – as educator, administrator, and coordinator of events, programs, conferences and curricula. She has been responsible for all phases of programming, from creation to implementation and follow-up evaluation. As a trainer, Judy seeks to expand cultural responsiveness and change hearts through impactful stories that are overlooked when serving LGBTQ+ older adults.
*** Due to limited parking space at Fox Run complex, you will need to park at the Brightmore Church parking area, and there will be shuttle transportation available to bring you to this event.
