Attending With or Without an Adult
Parents, guardians or caregivers of children under the age of seven (7) years must be responsible for maintaining visual contact with and must be in the presence of their child at all times. Parents, guardians or caregivers of children between seven (7) and eleven (11) years old must remain at the Library but not necessarily in visual contact with their child. This month we will be discussing "Shark Heart" by Emily Habeck. The event will take place at Lakeshore Park at the Shelter 3. It will start at 6:30 pm. Registration is required.
The Synopsis:
Enjoy the summer at Paradise Park with lively music from great area bands, brought to you by the Friends of the Novi Library. Event is free and will be held under an outdoor, covered pavilion. Arrive at 6pm for cash bar, food service, attractions and games which are available for purchase.

Join our NO-VI Chess Club to participate, learn and sharpen your chess skill. No previous knowledge of chess is necessary. This program will include lectures, practice games, game analysis, and other components of chess training. Limited number of chess boards, timers, and rule books are provided (sponsored by a generous library donor). Please bring your own board.
Registration is required for each session. Ages 5 and up welcome (caregivers are expected to accompany their child to the program if under the age of 12).
