Library Closed Fri, August 15 for a Staff In-Service Day
NPL will reopen on Saturday, August 16 at 10am. As a reminder, NPL is fine free and no items will be due during the closure. We encourage you to enjoy your materials for an extra day and return them when we reopen.
Designed to encourage a love of reading, this story time offers 4-5 year-olds their own time for stories, songs, conversation and kid fun.

Attending With or Without an Adult
Parents, guardians or caregivers of children under the age of seven (7) years must be responsible for maintaining visual contact with and must be in the presence of their child at all times. Parents, guardians or caregivers of children between seven (7) and eleven (11) years old must remain at the Library but not necessarily in visual contact with their child. Teen Space is held from 2:45-5pm, Monday-Friday, downstairs in the Whole Meeting Room, near the Café, during the school year. Students can hang out, play games, including Xbox and Switch, ping pong, board games and more. Come check it out and have fun! Proof of student status is required for admittance. Teen Space is closed during vacation breaks, half days and Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meetings.
Need a break from reading for school? Come to the No Required Reading Book Club, our book club for teens! Each month we will pick a new book to read, and then come together the next month to discuss our thoughts and feelings about the book.

Summary:
Library Board meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, at the Novi Civic Center at 7:00pm, to review library financials, make policy decisions, and provide broad operational oversight of the Library. The public is welcome.
