Attending With or Without an Adult
Parents, guardians or caregivers of children under the age of seven (7) years must be responsible for maintaining visual contact with and must be in the presence of their child at all times. Parents, guardians or caregivers of children between seven (7) and eleven (11) years old must remain at the Library but not necessarily in visual contact with their child. Photos and Videos of Patrons
Attendance at Library programs, events or Library spaces constitutes consent to be photographed or filmed for use in print and/or electronic publicity of the Library. If a patron does not want the Library to use a photo or video of them or of their child, they must inform the Library staff member who is coordinating the event prior to the start of the program. Join our NO-VI Chess Club to participate, learn and sharpen your chess skill. No previous knowledge of chess is necessary. This program will include lectures, practice games, game analysis, and other components of chess training. Limited number of chess boards, timers, and rule books are provided (sponsored by a generous library donor). Please bring your own board.
Registration is required for each session. Ages 5 and up welcome (caregivers are expected to accompany their child to the program if under the age of 12).
