Growing Early Literacy Skills Through Books - A Workshop for Early Childhood Educators

Have you ever wondered what the corner of Grand River Avenue and Novi Road was like a century ago? The Novi Historical Commission presents "The 4 Corners of Novi" featuring a miniature of Matt Moeren's General Store.

For adult beginners who recently arrived in the USA/Michigan. We will have conversation time for listening, speaking, and writing. Also, a discussion of topics that are for the beginner level.

These sessions will be for intermediate/advanced level adults who have been in the USA/Michigan for at least 1-2 years. We will discuss a variety of subjects during our 8 weeks of class.

This beginner sewing class will teach introductory information such as terminology, how to thread a sewing machine, how to wind a bobbin, and basic stitches. With this information, students will be able to make their own custom pillowcase.

The Northville Genealogical Society will be offering free genealogical research assistance on the 4th Monday of each month from 12-2pm.
